(재)전라남도청소년미래재단(원장직무대행 강종철)은 5월부터 11월까지 ㈜예술약방과 협력해 한국문화예술교육진흥원의 문화예술 치유 프로그램 「마음치유, 봄처럼」을 운영하고 있다.

「마음치유, 봄처럼」은 심리·정서적 지원이 필요한 위기청소년에게 맞춤형 문화예술 콘텐츠를 제공해 정서 회복과 관계 형성을 돕는 프로그램이다.

전라남도청소년미래재단과 예술약방은 우울 등 고위기 청소년 15명을 대상으로 미술, 음악, 연극 등 다양한 예술 활동을 융합한 창작 과정을 진행했다.

예술약방은 광주광역시에 위치한 전문 기관으로, 암 환자와 사회적 약자, 트라우마 피해자 등을 위한 다수의 예술 프로젝트를 운영한 경험이 있다.

이번 6일에는 프로그램 참여 청소년들의 작품으로 구성한 1차 전시회 ‘예술 한 첩, 나를 찍다’를 개최했다. 청소년 작가와 학부모, 상담자가 함께 참여해 작품을 감상하고 의미를 나누는 시간을 가졌다.

이윤조 전라남도청소년상담복지센터장은 “말로 표현하기 어려운 내면의 상처와 감정을 예술 활동을 통해 치유하고, 이를 바탕으로 청소년들이 행복하게 성장하기를 기대한다.”고 전했다.

2차 전시회와 사례 발표는 오는 28일 신안비치호텔에서 열리는 전라남도청소년상담복지센터 운영보고대회 및 포럼과 함께 진행될 예정이다.

전남 지역의 청소년, 학부모, 상담자가 참여해 작품과 사례를 공유하며 프로그램의 성과를 확인할 계획이다.

"Healing Minds Through Art!" Jeonnam At-Risk Youth Recover Through Creative Exhibition
The Jeonnam Youth Future Foundation (Acting Director Kang Jong-cheol) has been operating the cultural arts healing program “Healing the Mind, Like Spring” in collaboration with Art Apothecary Co., Ltd. from May to November, under the support of the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service.
“Healing the Mind, Like Spring” is a cultural and artistic program designed to provide customized content for at-risk youth who need psychological and emotional support, helping them restore emotional stability and build interpersonal relationships.
The Jeonnam Youth Future Foundation and Art Apothecary guided 15 high-risk youth experiencing depression and related challenges through an integrated creative process combining visual arts, music, and theater.
Art Apothecary, based in Gwangju, is a professional institution that has conducted numerous art projects for cancer patients, socially disadvantaged groups, and trauma survivors, combining artistic expression with healing practices.
On the 6th, a first exhibition titled “A Dose of Art, Capturing Myself” was held, showcasing the works created by participating youth. Young artists, their parents, and counselors attended the exhibition to appreciate the artworks and share the meanings behind them.
Lee Yoon-jo, Director of the Jeonnam Youth Counseling & Welfare Center, stated, “Through art, youth can heal internal wounds and emotions that are difficult to express in words. We hope this process helps them grow happily and healthily.”
The second exhibition and case presentations are scheduled for the 28th at Shinan Beach Hotel, in conjunction with the Jeonnam Youth Counseling & Welfare Center’s Operations Report Conference and Forum. Youth, parents, and counselors from the Jeonnam region will participate to share artworks and experiences, reviewing the program’s achievements.
