“펜 대신 나눔을 들다”… 200박스 김치에 담긴 해남의 온기

겨울의 끝자락, 아직은 매서운 바람이 남아 있는 2월의 아침. 해남군청 상황실에는 차가운 공기 대신 사람의 온기가 먼저 스며들었다.

2026년 2월 11일 오전 11시, 해남군 출입기자협회(회장 박인석)는 해남군 14개 읍·면의 어려운 이웃들을 위해 ‘사랑의 김치 나눔’ 전달식을 가졌다.
이날 박인석 회장은 명현관 해남군수에게 김치 5kg 200박스를 전달하며, 지역 곳곳에 따뜻한 마음을 보탰다.

김치 한 상자, 한 포기에는 단순한 식재료 이상의 의미가 담겨 있었다.
추운 계절을 홀로 견디는 이웃들에게는 밥상 위의 반찬을 넘어, “당신을 기억하고 있다”는 위로이자 “함께 이겨내자”는 응원의 손길이었다.

전달식은 크지 않은 자리였지만, 그 울림은 깊었다.

박인석 회장은 “작은 정성이지만 군민 여러분께 힘이 되었으면 한다.”며 “해남군 출입기자협회는 앞으로도 지역의 목소리를 성실히 전하는 동시에, 나눔과 연대의 가치를 실천하는 공동체로서 군정 발전에 힘을 보태겠다.”고 밝혔다.

그동안 펜과 카메라로 현장을 기록해 온 기자들이 이날만큼은 직접 이웃의 삶을 보듬는 손이 되었다.

사실을 전하는 사람들의 진심이 행동으로 이어질 때, 지역 공동체는 더 단단해진다.
겨울은 아직 완전히 물러나지 않았지만, 해남의 마음은 한층 더 따뜻해졌다.

작은 나눔이 모여 큰 희망이 되고, 따뜻한 손길이 또 다른 온기를 부르는 곳. 그곳이 바로 우리가 함께 살아가는 해남이다.

Haenam County Reporters’ Association Delivers Love-Filled Kimchi to 14 Townships and Towns
On a February morning at the tail end of winter, when the sharp wind still lingered in the air, warmth arrived first at the Haenam County Office situation room.
At 11 a.m. on February 11, 2026, the Haenam County Reporters’ Association (Chairman Park In-seok) held a “Sharing Love Through Kimchi” donation ceremony for neighbors in need across all 14 townships and towns of Haenam.
Chairman Park delivered 200 boxes of 5-kilogram kimchi to Haenam County Mayor Myung Hyun-gwan, adding a heartfelt touch of care to communities throughout the region.
Each box of kimchi carried meaning beyond food.
For neighbors enduring the cold season alone, it was more than a side dish for the dinner table—it was a message of comfort saying, “You are remembered,” and a gesture of encouragement whispering, “We will get through this together.”
Though modest in scale, the ceremony resonated deeply.
Chairman Park stated, “Though it is a small token, I hope it brings strength to our residents. The Haenam County Reporters’ Association will continue not only to faithfully report the voices of our community, but also to practice the values of sharing and solidarity, contributing to the development of county administration.”
Reporters who usually document the field with pens and cameras became, on this day, hands that gently embraced their neighbors’ lives.
When those who deliver facts act with sincerity, the local community grows stronger.
Winter has not fully passed, but the heart of Haenam has grown warmer.
Where small acts of sharing gather into great hope, and warm hands kindle new warmth—
that is the Haenam we live in together.
